With the help of customers and store associates, the Fresh Grocer raised $10,000 for friends at Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation
during a recent three-day fundraiser.
Alex's Lemonade Stand is an organization that is changing the lives of children with cancer by funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.
"We're thrilled at the success of the fundraiser and very proud of our team's accomplishment," said Pat Burns, CEO of Burns' Family Neighborhood Markets, which operates seven Fresh Grocer supermarkets.
The supermarket presented a check to Sarah McIntosh, partnership coordinator for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
